Review Policy
Our Approach to Movie Reviews
At Weadownn, movie reviews are written for people who want to know more about a film before deciding whether to watch it.
Our reviews reflect the personal opinions and viewing experience of the reviewer. They are not intended to represent the opinions of every viewer.
What We Consider
Depending on the movie, our reviews may discuss:
- Story and screenplay
- Acting and performances
- Direction
- Cinematography
- Visual effects
- Music and sound
- Pacing
- Characters
- Entertainment value
- Overall viewing experience
Not every review will discuss every category.
Spoilers
We try to keep the main part of our reviews as spoiler-free as possible.
When important plot details are necessary for discussion, we may clearly indicate that spoilers are being discussed.
Ratings
When Weadownn uses a rating, it represents the reviewer’s personal assessment of the movie based on the viewing experience.
A rating should not be interpreted as an objective measurement or a guarantee that every viewer will have the same experience.
Honest Opinions
Our reviews are intended to provide honest opinions.
A positive or negative review does not mean that we expect every reader to agree with the reviewer. Movies are subjective, and different audiences can appreciate different aspects of the same film.
Sponsored Content and Promotional Material
If Weadownn publishes sponsored or promotional content, we aim to distinguish that content from independent editorial reviews.
Commercial relationships should not be presented in a way that falsely suggests an independent editorial opinion.
Review Copies and Access
If Weadownn receives access to a movie, screening, promotional material, or other content from a studio, distributor, publicist, or platform, the availability of that access does not automatically determine the reviewer’s opinion.
Review Updates
A review may be updated if significant information about the movie changes or if an important factual error is discovered.
The original opinion may remain unchanged unless there is a clear reason to revise it.
